The outer cover is made of soft and durable cotton/viscose, edged with contrasting camel-colored piping.

It is padded with Cheviot wool on the winter side and Cheviot wool and silk on the summer side.
It has two layers of springs, which follow the body in its movements. The springing can be soft-medium or firm.
The Cheviot wool comes from the Cheviot Hills in England, on the border with Scotland.
The breeding of these animals began a long time ago, in the 14th century.
Today they are a "small and hardy breed" that produces excellent white wool known for its durability, the length of the hair, and its resilience. This makes Cheviot wool perfect for creating the padding of our mattresses.
Silk, being a very thin and shiny continuous filament, is lightweight, thermally insulating, elastic, flexible, and is considered the finest and softest among natural fibers.
