Duvets for warm winter nights
On winter nights, the duvet welcomes us and wraps us in a warm embrace. However, to ensure a comfortable rest, it is important to carefully choose the heat level suitable for you and the right filling, which can be of 2 types: natural or synthetic materials.
The duvet can guarantee a perfect and tempered microclimate if it maintains a constant temperature and excellent breathability. To choose the right heat level (thermal resistance), therefore, you must evaluate the room temperature and your own perception of it, which will depend on the use of heating and air conditioning, as well as whether you sleep alone or with your partner. At this point, we can choose among the various heat levels that characterize bed duvets: the increase in grammage (filling density) increases them. The thermal resistance of duvets is measured in Tog: the higher this value, the more capable the product is of retaining heat. Our bed duvets offer various heat levels to satisfy the most personal needs.
The types of duvets are also differentiated by the types of filling: models with down are particularly soft, breathable, and thermoregulating; those with natural fibers are fresh, hygroscopic, and if made of wool, anti-rheumatic; those with synthetic fiber filling are hypoallergenic and washable even at high temperatures.
Pillows to make rest comfortable
For rest to be of primary importance, the pillow we choose for our bed also plays a crucial role. At Villa Luxury Bed, we offer only high-quality pillows, filled with down like our duvets and covered in breathable cotton. Machine washable and suitable for tumble drying.
To ensure the body maintains a correct posture during sleep, you could also opt for an anatomical pillow, with polyurethane and polyester fiber filling and a microfilm cover. These models are designed to support the head, aligning it with the neck, and to guarantee restorative sleep by eliminating tension in the shoulder and neck muscles.
Finally, pillows with wool filling are particularly soft and offer excellent moisture regulation, thanks to the insulating properties of wool.
Add softness to your mattress
With the topper, an accessory placed between the mattress and the mattress protector, which softens or enhances softness, we can customize the bed's level of comfort.
Its main functions:
Regulates body temperature because, thanks to the materials it is made of, it facilitates air circulation and absorbs excess moisture; Protects the mattress, preserving its lifespan
It proves to be a convenient accessory to take with you on vacation, or to use to join two single mattresses side by side on a double bed frame.
The topper has a height ranging from 3 to 9 cm: its thickness, along with the type of padding, determines its level of softness. We recommend not buying one that is too high, to avoid "sinking in," nor too thin, as it would not change the mattress's firmness. The difference between a topper and a mattress protector is that the latter only serves to protect the mattress, without altering its level of softness, unlike the former.
