The Leonardo mattress is the jewel signed by VILLA - luxury beds - born in collaboration with Midsummer Milano. Available in firm, medium, or soft versions, it is made using only natural materials and is 100% made in Italy. The outer cover is made of double-twisted cotton and viscose fabric with contrasting camel-colored piping. The Leonardo mattress is crafted by skilled hands capable of producing extremely precise stitching, padded with Cheviot wool on the winter side and Cheviot wool and silk on the summer side. The spring system features a double layer of independent, adjustable pocket springs made of tempered harmonic steel, which follow the body's movements. Mattress thickness: 25 cm
- Cheviot wool comes from the Cheviot Hills in England, near the Scottish border. The breeding of these animals began long ago, in the 14th century. Today, they are a "small and hardy breed" that produces excellent white wool known for its durability, fiber length, and resilience. This makes Cheviot wool perfect for creating the padding of our mattresses.
- Silk, being a very thin, shiny continuous filament, is lightweight, thermally insulating, elastic, flexible, and is considered the finest and softest among natural fibers.
