We are pleased to present the jewel signed by VILLA - luxury beds - born in collaboration with Midsummer Milano: the Leonardo mattress! Available in firm, medium or soft version, it is produced with only natural materials and 100% made in Italy. Outer cover in double-twisted cotton and viscose fabric with a contrasting camel-colored piping. The Leonardo mattress is built by expert hands capable of creating stitching with extreme precision and padded with Cheviot wool on the winter side and Cheviot wool and silk on the summer side. Spring system with double layer of pocket springs, independent and adjustable, which follow the body in its movements, in tempered harmonic steel. Mattress thickness: 25 cm

• Cheviot wool comes from the Cheviot hills in England on the border with Scotland. The breeding of these animals began a long time ago, in the 14th century. Today they are a "small and hardy breed" that produces an excellent white wool known for its durability, for the length of the hair and for its resilience. This makes Cheviot wool perfect for creating the padding of our mattresses.

• Silk, being a very thin and shiny continuous filament, is lightweight, thermally insulating, elastic, flexible and is considered the finest and softest among natural fibers.
